Representation Happy Hour – Celebrate Black History & Women’s History Month
Our next Representation Happy Hour series is on Thursday, March 16th at 6 pm at Kehrein’s Center for the Arts, and you’re invited!
BBBSChi is hosting ongoing mentor recruitment events to promote diversity amongst our Bigs and provide a space for Bigs from historically marginalized communities to connect and network with each other. We provide appetizers and drinks while you share your mentoring experience with potential future Bigs! This initiative is extremely important to our agency, and we hope you will take part to help us increase representation in our mentoring programs while having a great time.
Our waitlist Littles are asking to be matched with Bigs who share their identity, including Bigs of Color and LGBTQ identifying Bigs. When you register you’ll be asked to provide the name of the potential future Big or Bigs who will be accompanying you, so if you know someone who would make a great Big, this is the perfect opportunity to bring them to an agency event and expose them to the mission!
