BIG Bash 2018 Helps #WipeOutTheWaitlist

The Leadership Board of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metropolitan Chicago (BBBSMC) is pleased to announce it raised $144,000 at its annual event, BIG Bash, which will allow 575 children across Chicagoland to be matched with a Big Brother or Big Sister.

“This year’s event was critical to helping positively change the trajectory of children’s lives across the city,” said Jeremy Foster, CEO of BBBSMC. “We know that we can deepen our impact on every child we serve, expanding our commitment to more neighborhoods and communities throughout Metro Chicago. And for the first time in our agency history, we are taking one child off the waitlist every single day.”

More than 350 young professionals, community leaders and corporate partners attended the event, which took place on Saturday, November 10 from 7 to 11 p.m. at Venue One in Chicago’s West Loop neighborhood.
